SCBDD is proud to support Special Olympics athletes throughout Sandusky County through the Sandusky County Raptors. Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and competition for individuals with intellectual disabilities, building physical fitness, confidence, friendships, and community.

Our athletes participate in a variety of Special Olympics sports throughout the year, which may include:

How to Join the Sandusky County Raptors

Special Olympics is open to individuals ages 8 and older with an intellectual disability. To learn more about joining the Sandusky County Raptors or volunteering as a coach, contact SCBDD.
